The basement work is really a group of unrelated projects. Eventually though even the basement should become a more functional space.

First project – I installed an updated outlet for the dryer so my new washer and dryer could be hooked up.

Saturday-Sunday, June 6-7, 2009.
Updated as much electrical as we could. This included adding lights with outlets to the basement to facilitate work (Sunday). Also a new outlet for the washing machine so it could be moved next to the dryer! Some grounded outlets now exist downstairs which is a large improvement over previous conditions! Also the clutter of the old knob and tube wiring has been reduced by at least 50% in the basement.
