Alex has been exhausted after daycare each night this week (her naps are too short!). But she’s a trooper and I get about 30 minutes of play out of her before we head upstairs for bathtime, quiettime and bedtime. Last night while I was snapping some pictures of her grabbing her feet she decided to show off her rolling skills, she rolled from her back to her front (which she has been doing) but then she continued on and rolled to her back again! And I caught it in a series of photos.
Tonight, each time I set her down for second she proceeded to immediately roll to her belly! And then she’d look for me and smile up at me from her belly – she knows she did something great 🙂 Then she got tired and whiny each time she was on her belly. We skipped bathtime tonight because I kept her up a bit late (i wanted to eat some dinner for a change). Still down by 8pm so I had plenty of time to upload pictures and blog 🙂
I love watching all of the changes in this little angel with each post. It makes not being close by tolerable. Thank you for featuring the quilt in so many photos, you truly make my heart smile.
I love you all!!!
Suzanne aka Grandma
This blog puts it all together so nicely… It was like a jigsaw puzzle on the google site and as you said, this is a truly memorable milestone! Well worth celebrating!
The quilt is used almost daily. I swap between that one and the one mom made for the livingroom floor as Alli space (vs. Fitz space). Whenever it gets peed on or too much dog hair I swap them until laundry day 🙂 I love that she has so many beautiful quilts, they have all very quickly fallen into different roles/places!
